Xometry is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to serve as a trusted technical advisor to our prospects and customers. In this role, you will partner closely with the Sales team to sell a range of manufacturing processes, using your expertise to craft relevant solutions and overcome technical hurdles.
What You'll Do
- Support the Sales team by conducting discovery meetings to uncover business and technical requirements.
- Consult with prospects and customers to identify appropriate applications of Xometry technology and define a business case.
- Demonstrate Xometry capabilities, including the software quoting platform.
- Support internal product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams by driving feedback and content for marketing collateral.
- Support marketing efforts by serving as an industry thought leader at events and webinars.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical intuition and knowledge across a range of injection molding processes.
- Comfort in both deep technical discussions with engineers and presenting to varied audiences, including executives.
- A consultative approach focused on asking questions to understand the underlying business needs.
- Experience preparing technical solutions for business proposals.
- Driven and self-motivated with the ability to manage several long-term projects with minimal oversight.
- 5 to 7+ years of experience in an engineering or technical field.
- Demonstrated project management and presentation skills.
- CAD and technical drawing experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience in injection molding processes.
- An Engineering degree (Mechanical or Plastics preferred) or related technical degree.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as New Product Development, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering, or Mold Design.
Team & Environment
You will work in tandem with the Sales team as a key technical partner.

- Compensation range: $101,000 - $150,000 annually + commission.
