This position serves as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, applying in-depth manufacturing and engineering knowledge to develop solutions for complex business challenges. Works closely with the sales team to promote adoption of the company’s instant quoting technology and broad manufacturing network across North America.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales to lead discovery meetings that identify customer business and technical needs, aligning them with appropriate solutions
- Advise prospects and clients on optimal uses of the company’s technology to establish viable business cases and implementation strategies
- Showcase platform capabilities, including live demonstrations of the automated quoting system and software tools
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in various manufacturing methods, especially injection molding variants such as plastic, compression, overmolding, insert molding, and metal injection molding
- Capable of engaging in detailed technical discussions with engineers and presenting effectively to executive-level stakeholders
- Approaches customer interactions with a consultative mindset, focusing on understanding underlying needs through targeted questioning
- Proven ability to develop technical proposals that support business development efforts
- Self-driven with strong project management skills, able to handle multiple long-term initiatives independently in a fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal abilities with experience collaborating across technical and commercial teams
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical or Plastics Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of professional experience in an engineering or technical capacity

Compensation
The estimated base salary range for this role is $101,000 to $150,000 per year, plus commission. Total compensation includes performance-based pay.
Team
Works collaboratively with the Sales team and provides cross-functional support to internal groups including product, sales, quoting, and engineering teams.
Additional Information
- Up to 20% travel may be required
