We seek passionate, industrious Solutions Engineers eager to join a hyper-growth business and evangelize technical solutions. The Senior Solutions Engineer is a critical go-to-market team member, collaborating closely with sales and solutions organizations to drive revenue and customer adoption. They're responsible for technical wins, product fit, and leading pre-sales technical relationships. This role demands a highly technical product expert who's also an exceptional relationship builder. Candidates must be comfortable engaging with CTOs, demonstrating product architecture, overcoming technical objections, and translating complex concepts into compelling business value. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about interfacing with engineers, product managers, and technical leaders while advocating for customer interests through product development, technical content creation, and cross-company initiatives. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with Sales Teams on Algolia solution evaluations - Qualify customer objectives and articulate Algolia's capabilities - Support sales processes including discovery, demonstrations, POCs - Develop custom search applications using Algolia's ecosystem - Relay customer insights to Product and Engineering teams - Stay current with Search/Discovery industry trends - Facilitate smooth post-sales transitions with Solution Architects IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE: - Customer problem-solving passion - 4+ years customer-facing technical experience - Software development expertise - Front-end: JavaScript, TypeScript, React - Back-end: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C - Data transformation skills - Superior communication and organizational capabilities PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Search/e-commerce background - Knowledge of Magento, Shopify, Salesforce platforms - Familiarity with agentic AI systems - Analytics and SEO expertise - Spanish language proficiency CORE VALUES: - GRIT: Problem-solving in dynamic environments - TRUST: Ownership and collaboration - CANDOR: Constructive feedback - CARE: Genuine commitment to team and clients - HUMILITY: Continuous learning Algolia is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
