EoT Labs is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer (f/m/d) to join the Engineering team (Build). You will be instrumental in building products that meet high quality standards and contribute to an exceptional developer experience. This role involves providing hands-on technical support to ecosystem projects and building scalable Web3 applications, SDKs, and tools.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Web3 applications using Solidity and JavaScript.
Build and maintain JavaScript/TypeScript SDKs and client libraries that abstract complex blockchain logic for internal and external developers.
Actively provide technical support to projects building on peaq network.
Lead the development of decentralised applications (dApps) that integrate with smart contracts across EVM-compatible chains.
Work with blockchain interaction libraries such as Ethers.js, Web3.js, and Viem to build secure and performant integrations.
Implement and support token standards including ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155, with attention to interoperability and gas efficiency.
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using REST and GraphQL, ensuring high performance and uptime.
Optimise frontend and backend systems for scalability, security, and performance across different environments and user contexts.
Collaborate cross-functionally with blockchain engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features with high impact and usability.
Write clean, modular, and well-documented code adhering to Web3 best practices.
Contribute to the architecture, testing, versioning, and packaging of SDKs for external developer use.
Conduct code reviews, help guide junior team members in engineering and Web3 best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in blockchain protocols, smart contract development, wallet integrations, and Web3 tooling.
Actively contribute to internal engineering standards and drive improvements in development workflows and developer experience.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
3+ years of experience as a Blockchain Developer.
Proven experience working with JavaScript & TypeScript.
Some experience working with Next.js, React.js, and Node.js for full stack development.
Hands-on experience with blockchain and Web3 development.
Proficiency with Web3.js, Ethers.js, or Viem to interact with smart contracts.
Understanding of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), Solidity, and smart contract development.
Familiarity with RPCs, IPFS, The Graph for blockchain data access.
Strong understanding of security best practices in Web3 applications.
Experience with centralized databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB.
Experience with decentralised databases such as IPFS, FileBase, Arweave, Crust and Filecoin etc.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development.
Experience with Substrate and pallet development.
Knowledge of DeFi, DAOs, or NFT marketplaces.
Understanding of decentralized storage solutions (IPFS, Arweave, Filecoin).
Familiarity with DiDs, VCs and VPs, RBACs.
Familiarity with Swift (iOS) SDK development.
Familiarity with Kotlin (Android) SDK development.
Familiarity with Flutter SDK development.
Familiarity with libP2P development.
