Sitemate is hiring a Junior Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

Sitemate is looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join a cross-product team. You will develop features to improve customer experience and eliminate manual tasks. Starting with 'warm up' tasks, you'll quickly learn our systems before tackling feature development, bug fixes, and core component work.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver features to address customer and go-to-market team pain points.
  • Begin with introductory tasks to familiarize yourself with systems and processes.
  • Participate in planning and development of new features, including research calls.
  • Play a key role in feature development, bug fixes, and re-architecting core components.
  • Collaborate closely with the delivery team (Product Designer & QA), Product, and broader Engineering team.
  • Assist with diagnosing production issues using Bugsnag and Datadog logs and creating hotfix releases.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience as a full-stack engineer.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Javascript/Typescript, including Node and Angular or React.
  • Love for all things Frontend, including CSS.
  • Experience with MongoDB and AWS.
  • Experience building no/low-code automation products.
  • Broader non-technical understanding of the open API ecosystem, best practices, and trends.

Team & Environment

You'll join a supportive, collaborative engineering team within a company of 150+ employees. You'll work in a cross-product team, collaborating with delivery, product, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.

  • Compensation: AUD $85,000-115,000 (including super) + equity options.
