metabook is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack (PHP/Laravel) to play a central role in the technical evolution of our platform. You will be responsible for delivering features used by thousands of users daily, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring other developers.

What You'll Do

Develop and deliver critical features from start to finish.
Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.
Collaborate and mentor other developers on the team.
Participate in architectural and tech spec decisions.
Gradually take on more responsibilities as the role evolves.

What We're Looking For

7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong PHP/Laravel skills.
Frontend: JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, Sass.
Database optimization and performance tuning (MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch).
2+ years in a leadership role.
Experience with code review processes and team mentoring.
Experience with technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Production environment management experience.
CI/CD processes experience (Laravel Forge/Envoyer preferred).
Experience with monitoring tools (Bugsnag, Sentry).
Must reside in Greece.
Must have completed military service obligations.
Must speak and write Greek fluently and be comfortable with English.
Must have own office space.

Nice to Have

Domain expertise in e-commerce/marketplace platforms.
Experience with payment systems and financial integrations.
