Independence Pet Holdings is looking for an Software Engineer - Associate to participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design and support. You'll work on analyzing and modifying existing software while also building and testing new end-user applications.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and modify existing software as well as design, construct, and test end-user applications.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs, as needed.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code is high quality based on reliability, efficiency, security, maintainability, and size.
- Participate in agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to clarify individual business requirements.
