About the Role
Design and implement scalable backend services and platform-level features using Ruby on Rails to support enterprise automation workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core platform components in Ruby on Rails
- Optimize system performance and scalability for high-traffic services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
- Participate in architectural design and technical planning sessions
- Ensure code quality through code reviews and testing practices
- Contribute to API design and integration patterns
- Support deployment and monitoring of platform services
- Work closely with product managers to refine requirements
- Improve developer tooling and internal workflows
- Help maintain system reliability and uptime
- Drive best practices in software engineering across the team
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies when appropriate
- Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing
