About the Role
Lead the expansion and management of alternative investment product distribution in Western Canada by developing key partnerships with financial advisors, dealers, and institutions, while aligning regional strategy with national objectives and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional distribution strategy for alternative investment offerings
- Build and maintain relationships with key financial intermediaries in Western Canada
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams to tailor messaging for regional audiences
- Identify new market opportunities and channels for product placement
- Conduct regular field visits to support intermediary partners
- Deliver product education and training to advisor networks
- Monitor competitive landscape and adapt outreach approaches
- Track and report on regional sales performance and pipeline metrics
- Ensure all distribution activities comply with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with compliance and legal teams on promotional materials
- Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
- Support RFP and due diligence processes for institutional clients
- Work closely with client service teams to ensure smooth onboarding
- Gather market feedback to inform product development
- Manage travel logistics across Western provinces
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of alternative investment trends
- Serve as a regional point of contact for internal stakeholders
- Contribute to national sales planning discussions
- Mentor regional account managers when applicable
- Align regional goals with overall business objectives
- Respond to inquiries from financial institutions and dealer groups
- Facilitate introductions between product specialists and key clients
- Prepare executive summaries for leadership review
- Support brand visibility through targeted outreach
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Compensation
