Ashby is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in EMEA. You will own a large portion of a product end-to-end, from research and design to implementation, focusing on solving complex customer problems in a high-agency, low-process environment.

What You'll Do

Own projects end-to-end, wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.
Research competitors, write product specifications, and create wireframes.
Design and build features to solve complex customer problems, such as automated interview scheduling or declarative filter architectures.
Take ownership over a significant portion of one of our products.
Tackle projects with substantial product and technical ambiguity.
Strike the right balance between speed and quality in implementation.
Create leverage through automation and abstraction in your work.
Collaborate and communicate clearly with stakeholders and fellow engineers.

Team & Environment

The team is on track to double this year, with more than 90% of engineers at a Senior level or above. Engineers run their own projects with high ownership, while Product Managers and Designers provide strategy and problem briefs.
