About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of cloud-based security products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify testing needs and implement effective testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated testing solutions for cloud-based security products.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of products.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Automate regression testing to ensure product stability.
- Develop and maintain test data and environments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.
- Collaborate with product management to understand product requirements and testing priorities.
- Participate in the development of test strategies and plans.
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and issues.
- Ensure test environments are stable and reliable.
- Provide input on testability of product designs.
- Work with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
- Ensure test cases are comprehensive and cover all critical paths.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in software testing, such as ISTQB or CSTE.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with microservices architecture and testing.
- Familiarity with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Robot Framework or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
