Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering
- Knowledge of cloud service providers and high-availability distributed systems design. Technologies: AWS (IAM, VPC, Route53, EKS), Azure, or GCP.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Configuration
- Architecting and maintaining production-grade container clusters and microservices at scale. Technologies: Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Helm, Cross plane and Service Meshes like Istio or Linkerd.
- Technologies: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Terraform proficiency — module design, state management, provider upgrades, and large-scale refactoring across multi-account, multi-region AWS infrastructure
- Writing clean, maintainable code to automate manual 'toil' and build internal platform tools.
- Solid AWS knowledge spanning EKS, IAM, VPC networking (NLB/ALB, Transit Gateway, Global Accelerator), Route53, CloudFront, and multi-account architectures
- Experience with secrets management — HashiCorp Vault & Consul, AWS Secrets Manager, KMS, External Secrets Operator, Cert Manager
- Experience working with highly available distributed systems across multiple regions
- Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Professional experience developing and deploying applications in a public cloud environment (AWS, GCP) with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with highly available distributed systems

- Experience designing and implementing core infrastructure components of a platform

- There is an expectation that our engineers participate in on-call shifts. You will be expected commit to being ready and able to respond during your assigned shift, so that alerts don't go unaddressed.
