dbt Labs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Clients to build our visual data modeling tool and the new Fusion engine. You'll have the freedom and responsibility to own entire slices of the product, move with speed, and ship features used by thousands of data teams. We empower data practitioners by making code-based data transformations transparent, flexible, and collaborative.

What You'll Do

Take ideas from zero to production with speed, autonomy, and precision.
Ship features that directly impact how thousands of data teams work every day.
Manage trade-offs, priorities, and deliverables to bring projects to successful completion.

Collaborate with product and design, always pushing things forward.

What We're Looking For

A track record of building and shipping fullstack products that made a dent in customer outcomes.
The ability to weigh tradeoffs, bias towards action, and take ownership over what you build.
Strong fullstack skills (React/TypeScript, Node, Python, SQL) and comfort owning the whole stack.
Comfort working async with a fully-remote, distributed team.

Nice to Have

Experience with an application similar to a visual design tool, analytics application, or IDE.
Experience scaling applications, especially those with runtimes in Kubernetes and AWS.
Experience working in an async environment and distributed company.
