About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead our CI/CD initiatives and enhance our developer tooling. You will work closely with our engineering teams to improve the efficiency and reliability of our software development processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
- Develop and enhance developer tooling to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the development process.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions to automate and streamline deployments.
- Ensure the security and compliance of CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the availability and reliability of CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation and knowledge base.
- Work with the team to define and implement best practices for CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure the security of CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to support CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing frameworks and tools.
- Work with the team to define and implement continuous improvement initiatives for CI/CD and developer tooling.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure the integration of CI/CD pipelines with other DevOps tools and processes.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to support CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the performance and health of CI/CD pipelines and developer tools.
- Participate in the planning and execution of software releases and deployments.
- Collaborate with the product management team to ensure the alignment of CI/CD and developer tooling initiatives with business objectives.
- Implement and manage version control systems to support CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
