REI Systems was looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer

The Senior SharePoint Developer will create and maintain SharePoint Online and Microsoft O365 solutions for a federal agency operating worldwide. This role focuses on building secure, scalable applications, modernizing legacy tools, and transforming business and security requirements into technical solutions within a collaborative, compliance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support large-scale initiatives using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver secure applications for external users.
  • Collaborate with operations, security, data management, and program management teams in a team-oriented setting.
  • Update and maintain SharePoint systems used across a globally dispersed federal organization.
  • Design, develop, and improve solutions on SharePoint Online and Microsoft O365 platforms.
  • Create new applications and enhance existing SharePoint-based tools.
  • Convert business and security requirements into scalable and efficient technical implementations.
  • Work closely with business analysts, end users, and technical teams across functions.
  • Assist in system documentation, deployment processes, and ongoing technical support.
  • Show flexibility and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Follow federal security protocols and compliance requirements in all development activities.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SharePoint, Power Platform, Modern Pages, SharePoint Designer, and Visual Studio.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, APIs, XML, CSON, JSON, AJAX, and IIS.
  • Experience using source control systems such as TFS or GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proven ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in prior professional roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software design and development.
  • At least 7 years of experience developing with SharePoint 2016/2019, SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Active Secret Clearance is mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft PL-400 certification as a Power Platform Developer Associate.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with developing and deploying applications in Azure environments.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of programming languages including Python, C#, or C++, and experience with automated testing tools.
