Bank of Montreal (BMO) is looking for a Senior Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide critical support and service for the Investment Operations function, delivering on processes and ensuring adherence with financial, regulatory, and operational guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Support change management of varying scope and type, focusing on execution and sustainment.
- Function as a problem-solving resource for more junior staff.
- Organize work information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Execute routine tasks such as service requests, transactions, and queries within relevant service level agreements.
- Provide accurate and timely processing of transactions and services in compliance with regulatory and risk controls.
- Deliver accurate, consistent, and knowledgeable responses to internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
- Follow documented policies and procedures to execute day-to-day activities and meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Check and reconcile information and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner or escalate as required.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to fulfill service delivery expectations.
- Maintain an understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks to take appropriate actions.
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of new processes and improvements to existing systems.
- Support the development of tools and the delivery of training focused on business results.
- Complete complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits, which may include handling escalations.
- Analyze issues and determine appropriate next steps.
What We're Looking For
- Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology.
- Good understanding of the business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls.
- Good knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business.
- Good prioritization, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Good PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good collaboration, team, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
