The Senior Security Manager will lead physical security operations for a global region at Medtronic, aligning regional initiatives with corporate objectives. This role ensures the safety of employees, patients, and assets by managing crisis response, threat assessment, investigations, and security training within a global, matrixed organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead and oversee day-to-day regional security operations
- Develop and execute regional goals aligned with Global Physical Security (GPS) initiatives
- Drive and implement regional security plans to address threats and vulnerability
- Design and deliver training to enhance preparedness and employee awareness
- Oversee and conduct investigations into threats, incidents, and workplace violence cases
- Monitor regional threats/disruptions and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide guidance on security standards, practices, and programs to support global initiatives
- Collaborate internally and externally to resolve complex regional security issues
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years with a bachelor’s or 3+ years with an advanced degree
- Previous Security Manager experience; extensive leadership background
- Deep expertise in operational, physical, travel, and crisis security management
- Strong background in investigations, reporting, and incident management
- Strategic and operational thinker; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Skilled in conflict resolution, crisis response, and complex issue management
