GuidePoint Security is looking for a Senior Security Engineer specializing in Operational Technology (OT) to join our team. In this remote role, you will apply your in-depth understanding of OT security to deliver high-impact engineering services and contribute to commercial projects.
What You'll Do
- Deliver OT security engineering services, including deploying OT security tools, performing health-checks, making configuration changes with clients and vendors, and conducting OT security architecture assessments.
- Author comprehensive service deliverables for technical and managerial audiences, detailing execution, deficiencies, business impact, and remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance OT service offerings, aligning with frameworks like the SANS Five ICS Critical Controls.
- Act as a lead engineer providing technical oversight and assist with OT project scoping and pre-sales activities.
- Write strong reports requiring minimal edits and communicate issues efficiently.
- Speak at conferences and author whitepapers or case studies as needed.
- Maintain and strengthen relevant skills to stay at the forefront of OT security.
- Foster strong client relationships and represent GuidePoint through interactive, collaborative support.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of the Purdue Model Framework and PERA architecture.
- A minimum of 5-7 years performing security services related to Operational Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years architecting, designing, deploying, or using OT security tools such as Claroty, Dragos, Forescout, Nozomi, or Tenable OT.
Nice to Have
- Over 7+ years of combined OT network architecture and security design experience.
- Operational Technology Penetration Testing (OTPT) experience.
- SANS GICSP or GIAC GRID certification.
- Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, SANS ICS Critical Controls, TSA Directives, and other OT security frameworks.
- Vendor certifications for OT security tool deployment.
- Strong knowledge of OT-related attacks, tactics, and techniques.
