Greenlight Financial Technology is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to own and manage the revenue recognition function. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with ASC 606.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end revenue recognition process for all contracts
- Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Product teams to review deal structures
- Assist with revenue-related disclosures for external financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements for revenue operations
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, with specific focus on revenue
- In-depth practical knowledge of ASC 606 and SaaS revenue models
- Proficiency with major ERP systems and Salesforce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate complex accounting concepts clearly
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
