Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial oversight for projects, including cost planning, tender management, and procurement. You will lead commercial advisory, manage key vendor relationships, and ensure accurate cost monitoring and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Lead cost planning, including establishing models, quantifying elemental cost items, sourcing pricing, reconciling estimate versions, assessing design options, updating the master cost library, and advising clients and consultants.
- Confer with engineers, architects, designers, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates to meet commercial objectives.
- Prepare tender documentation, review legal and procurement details, consolidate specifications and drawings, and finalize tender packages.
- Prepare pricing documents such as Bills of Quantities and schedules of works/rates, and draft tender amendments as needed.
- Manage the tender process, including pre-tender estimates, sourcing quotations, preparing cost comparisons, leading commercial negotiations, communicating with all stakeholders, and preparing recommendation reports, letters of award, purchase orders, and contract documents.
- Conduct tender and procurement activities via JLL’s cloud-based procurement platform.
- Assist in the activities of the commercial procurement and administration department.
- On-board and pre-qualify vendors to JLL standards and maintain the supplier, contractor, and subcontractor directory.
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers to deepen the tendering pool while maintaining positive supplier relations.
- Prepare payment valuations, coordinate associated invoices, and facilitate the processing of vendor invoices.
- Maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems in line with established procedures.
- Prepare Final Accounts for all contracts.

What We're Looking For
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field, and/or at least eight to ten years’ experience in a similar Cost Consultancy position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a tech-savvy approach.
