About the Role

The role involves conducting manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, documenting issues, and working closely with development teams to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities

Execute test cases across multiple platforms and devices
Identify, report, and track software defects using issue management tools
Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
Maintain and update test documentation and plans
Perform regression testing to confirm bug fixes
Validate user stories against acceptance criteria
Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge-case issues
Ensure compliance with defined quality standards
Participate in test planning and estimation activities
Review requirements for testability and clarity
Develop and execute smoke and sanity tests
Assist in creating automated test scripts
Monitor application performance under test conditions
Provide feedback on usability and interface design
Verify localization and internationalization features
Test accessibility features for compliance
Report on testing progress and quality metrics
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
Stay current with testing tools and methodologies

1. End-to-End QA Ownership

5+ years of hands-on QA engineering experience, ideally in high-growth tech environments.
Deep knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for automation tasks.
Experience testing RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and test automation integration.
A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for building reliable, high-quality software.
