We're seeking a supremely skilled QA Engineer with comprehensive expertise in Windows system mechanics, network protocols, and software compatibility evaluation. You'll be tasked with verifying intricate functionality such as device drivers, system interactions, and API interfaces across our Windows Secure Enclave platform. This isn't a standard quality assurance position — you'll be dissecting application behaviors, constructing compatibility frameworks, and generating regression test suites that validate sophisticated interactions between Windows components, third-party software, and ecosystem integrations. This position resides within a highly specialized team developing endpoint security and system-level compatibility solutions for unmanaged or personally owned device environments. You'll collaborate directly with developers specializing in kernel-mode and user-mode software engineering. About the role: 1. Construct and implement test methodologies for granular Windows functionality: file system filters, network integration, kernel/user interactions, etc. 2. Assess application compatibility across hundreds of enterprise desktop applications in virtualized/isolated environments. 3. Develop and sustain comprehensive manual and automated regression testing frameworks. 4. Analyze complex system interactions using specialized diagnostic instruments like Process Monitor, WinDbg, ETW, and Sysinternals. 5. Identify, isolate, and document challenging system defects with comprehensive contextual analysis. 6. Engage with development and product management teams to comprehend technical specifications and edge cases. 7. Create automation utilities and scripts (Python, PowerShell, C#) to optimize regression and compatibility testing processes. Requirements: 1. 5+ years of Windows QA or SDET experience, emphasizing drivers, system internals, or endpoint security solutions. 2. Profound understanding of Windows operating system architecture (kernel/user-mode transitions, ALPC, WFP, NDIS, minifilters, etc.). 3. Demonstrated proficiency testing file systems, registry interactions, network stacks, service management, and Group Policy dynamics. 4. Proficiency with debugging, performance analysis, and diagnostic toolsets. 5. Extensive experience validating application behaviors in controlled/sandboxed environments. 6. Comprehensive familiarity with enterprise application compatibility testing (MS Office, Zoom, Teams, Citrix, VPNs, etc.). 7. Scripting and automation capabilities in Python, PowerShell, or C#. 8. Exceptional communication skills and meticulous defect documentation practices. Benefits: Salary Range: $6500 USD /month + Holidays Unlimited PTO
