As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of a core enterprise software product. Your work will center on thorough testing practices that validate functionality, usability, and scalability across web and GUI-based applications.
What You'll Do
You'll develop and run test cases aligned with user stories and requirements, ensuring full traceability through structured methods. Your responsibilities include executing regression, system, and integration tests, as well as validating RESTful APIs and web services. You’ll use tools like Jira and Azure DevOps to track defects and coordinate with development teams.
You will participate in sprint planning and daily standups, working closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts. Your feedback will inform both technical improvements and user experience refinements. You’ll also ensure that all software changes meet quality benchmarks before deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience translating user stories into effective test cases
- Hands-on experience with manual testing of web and GUI applications
- Familiarity with API and data-driven testing, including RESTful services
- Experience using test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Ability to identify, document, and track defects using Team Foundation Server
- Skill in writing test plans with clear links to acceptance criteria
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving
