What You'll Do
Take ownership of end-to-end quality assurance for sophisticated software products. You'll design and refine manual testing strategies that go beyond surface-level checks, focusing on real-world usage and system resilience. Your testing will span complex features across web, mobile, and backend services, identifying issues that automated scripts might overlook.
Act as the central authority on quality, guiding both development teams and clients in recognizing systemic weaknesses and implementing corrective processes. You'll document and report on key quality metrics, ensuring transparency for engineers, product managers, and stakeholders. Collaborate closely with product and technical leads to define acceptance criteria and support release decisions.
Lead investigations into challenging defects, working across disciplines to trace root causes and verify fixes. Your insights will help strengthen the entire development lifecycle, promoting a culture where quality is built in from the start.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years testing web, mobile, and API-based applications
- At least 2 years leading QA independently on projects, capable of creating testing strategies from scratch
- Exceptional manual testing ability with a sharp instinct for uncovering edge-case bugs
- Strong grasp of client-server architecture and modern development stacks
- Proficient in using DevTools and API testing tools like Postman for technical validation
- Experience integrating manual testing into CI/CD workflows
- Skilled at maintaining clear test documentation and communicating results to technical and non-technical audiences
- A risk-aware mindset, able to explain tradeoffs in quality and technical debt
- Proactive, independent, and driven to improve software delivery practices
- Upper-Intermediate proficiency in written and spoken English
