Credence is looking for a Senior Software Tester to be the testing lead for the large-scale STORES 2.0 application modernization project on the ServiceNow platform. In this senior role, you will ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of delivered features by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, while helping to lead a team of testers.
What You'll Do
- Act as a senior expert on business processes and project teams, providing technical guidance on the overall testing strategy.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, including those using ServiceNow ATF.
- Assist in leading functional, regression, integration, performance, and 508 compliance/accessibility testing.
- Identify and prioritize test scenarios based on business impact and risk.
- Design detailed test cases from user stories, acceptance criteria, and process workflows.
- Log, track, and retest defects using Jira, and collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
- Drive defect triage meetings to prioritize resolution efforts.
- Design and prepare all required test data.
- Analyze internal system security and review test results for conformance to design.
- Develop and edit user and tester guides for various audiences.
- Prepare status reports and business case documents for senior leadership.
- Assist with project planning, execution, and monitoring to keep projects on track.
- Work independently and as part of a team, collaborating closely with development, DevOps, UI/UX, and business analysts.
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level experience in software testing, particularly in integration and acceptance testing.
- Proven experience designing and executing IT software tests and evaluating results for regulatory compliance.
- Strong experience developing test strategies and leading testing efforts for complex application modernization projects.
- Expertise in formulating systems scope and objectives based on business plans and industry requirements.
- Ability to learn program mission objectives, processes, and application architecture quickly.
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior testers and contributing to process improvement.
- Excellent collaboration skills with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to clarify issues and troubleshoot.
- Strong skills in defect management, documentation, and status reporting.
