Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans outlining strategies and methods to assess software functionality and usability.
- Design and execute functional, exploratory, regression, performance, security, and other required tests.
- Automate test scenarios and assist development teams using suitable tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Investigate root causes of defects through in-depth analysis and collaborate with developers to reduce defect rates.
- Verify software adherence to defined business rules to ensure correct system behavior and goal alignment.
- Work with developers, business analysts, and team members to resolve issues and drive continuous software improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing activities, including reports and records for quality tracking.
- Engage in planning sessions and code reviews to contribute quality-focused insights and improvement suggestions.
- Review requirements and specifications to ensure test scenarios fully cover all software aspects.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging testing tools to advance technical knowledge.
- Strive to deliver software free of defects by aiming for zero production issues.
- Apply and manage the test pyramid structure to ensure proper distribution of test types across levels.
- Collect and interpret quality metrics to support root cause analysis and quality initiatives.
- Enhance automation processes using AI techniques to streamline workflows and boost operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain systems that enable continuous delivery and integration of new technologies in line with /Flow strategy.
