Telgorithm is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to design and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our API endpoints. You will work closely with the development team to identify risks, automate testing, and drive continuous improvement for our messaging products.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and identify potential risks.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions.
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of our messaging application.
- Ensure API integrations function seamlessly by designing and executing detailed API tests.
- Automate test processes using tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Provide detailed reports on testing progress, coverage, and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Maintain existing and develop new automation tests using Playwright (Typescript).
- Help build a product that solves must-have needs, driving sales and securing renewals.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in functional testing.
- Experience in testing API services using tools such as Postman.
- Experience with writing various SQL queries.
- Deep understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Practical experience with Cypress or Playwright (Typescript) or readiness to switch to these tools.
- Ability to independently isolate defects and provide clear descriptions to developers.
- Proficiency in Russian is required for collaboration with the Russian-speaking development team.
- All candidates must be able to provide proof of identity and work authorization to work as a contractor in their country of residence.
