DualEntry is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to build the QA function from the ground up and own the testing pyramid for our AI-first accounting platform. You'll ensure the platform's reliability at scale in an intense, hands-on role with full ownership.
What You'll Do
- Establish and lead QA practices for a new AI-first SaaS platform.
- Design and execute test strategies across UI, API and integrations.
- Build and maintain test case management and reporting systems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality at every stage.
- Own bug reporting, triage and release validation.
- Lay the foundation for future automated QA testing and CI/CD integration.
- Drive user experience improvements.
What We're Looking For
- Hardcore work ethic and high agency.
- 4+ years of experience in Software QA, focused on SaaS/web applications.
- Experience with UI and API testing at scale.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong grasp of bug reporting (Jira), test management (TestRail), and tools like Selenium/Cypress/Playwright.
- Knowledge of performance testing, database testing and monitoring (Datadog a plus).
- Product intuition and user empathy, with critical thinking on testability.
- Ability to manage complex systems with evolving requirements.
- Fluent in English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication.
Nice to Have
- Programming experience in any language.
- Familiarity with React or modern frontend frameworks.
- SQL and relational database experience (e.g., PostgreSQL).
- Prior SaaS product QA experience.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $40,000 - $85,000 + equity: $15,000 - $30,000
