Hack The Box is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to advocate for high standards in our developer and designer tools, acting as the voice of quality and setting testing requirements. Your primary focus will be on our Enterprise Platform (Hack The Box for Business), which organizes our solutions for business customers.
What You'll Do
- Execute and maintain end-to-end automation testing scenarios.
- Automate manual testing scenarios for products and features.
- Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative testing reports to the team.
- Monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress.
- Retest to ensure that identified errors have been corrected.
- Ensure that the final features of the product create a consistent experience.
- Spot areas for improvement to enhance the products’ experience.
What We're Looking For
- Proficient in automating using OOP such as Java or C#.
- Experience working with design patterns, specifically S.O.L.I.D. Principles.
- Previous experience in the Screenplay pattern.
- Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues and implement effective tools and solutions.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have
- Mastery with CI/CD platforms and Unix will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS & JS will be highly appreciated.
Technical Stack
- Java, JUnit, Playwright with Java, Jenkins, Postman, Cucumber (BDD), GIT, Testrail, Jira
Team & Environment
You will join a team of ten individuals: six Manual QA Analysts, three Automation Testers, and the Head of QA. The team works across 4 different product streams, collaborating closely with Software Engineers in Test, UI/UX designers, Product Managers, and the development team. You will report to the Head of QA.
