Role Overview
In this position, you’ll take ownership of the entire testing lifecycle for a scalable SaaS platform built on microservices. You'll design and implement automated testing solutions, collaborate closely with development teams, and help drive quality initiatives across the product. Your work will directly impact the stability, performance, and user experience of a cloud-based application delivery system.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing processes from planning to execution and reporting
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Cucumber for integration and system-level validation
- Collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders to define testable requirements
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment
- Generate detailed test reports and deliver clear insights to development teams
- Continuously refine and scale test suites for better coverage and efficiency
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Support knowledge sharing and guide junior QA team members
- Champion testing best practices and quality standards across the engineering organization
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance with a focus on test automation
- Proven experience writing and executing test cases in Java
- Hands-on work with Cucumber for behavior-driven development and testing
- Solid understanding of CI/CD workflows and tools
- Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to thrive in a self-directed, collaborative startup setting
Preferred Background
- Experience testing microservices architectures
- Familiarity with Playwright for browser automation
- Working knowledge of AWS and SaaS platforms
- Exposure to performance testing methodologies
- Basic understanding of Salesforce environments
