Deutsche India Private Limited, Mumbai Branch, is looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer to take responsibility for testing activities on allocated projects. You will define test strategies, develop automation frameworks, and participate in system integration and user acceptance testing.
What You'll Do
- Take responsibility for all testing activities on your allocated project.
- Define the test strategy and prepare comprehensive test concepts.
- Participate in system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, project managers, product owners, developers, and deployment managers.
- Maintain all QA-related project documentation.
- Develop and maintain the test automation framework.
- Develop test cases, plans, scripts, data sets, and procedures based on business requirements.
- Report results of automated tests to development teams to facilitate defect resolution before production release.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or a similar field.
- A solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and/or Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in at least one programming language and software development best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of BDD methodology and practical experience in BDD testing.
- Strong experience with API Testing and tools like Postman and Soap UI.
- Experience with load and performance testing using tools like jMeter.
- Strong experience with test planning, test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting tools (ALM, Jira, TestRail or similar).
- Working knowledge of databases.
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices and tooling (Jenkins, TeamCity, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes).
- At least a basic understanding of retail banking and operations processes.

- Experience with Java/OOP.
- Experience with Selenium + Java.
