LVT is looking for a Senior Project Manager to provide delivery leadership for transformative technology programs within our Audit IT team. You will strategically plan and manage the successful implementation of medium-to-large audit initiatives, coordinating activities to ensure objectives are accomplished on time and on budget.
What You'll Do
- Provide delivery leadership for medium to large projects and initiatives.
- Facilitate Agile initiatives from initiation through release, ensuring alignment with RBC Agile/Scrum practices.
- Accountable alongside the scrum team for achieving release objectives that meet stakeholders’ needs.
- Track and manage risks and financials for the team.
- Facilitate discussion for collective decision-making, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
- Remove impediments to delivery success and escalate issues where necessary.
- Create and maintain vehicles for open communication to foster a trusting team environment.
- Manage team performance to promote joint accountability and solve productivity issues.
- Facilitate business analysis, user experience, and technical conversations across platforms.
- Navigate and identify shared IT services required for delivery objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with agile practices including Scrum/Kanban and Agile ceremonies.
- Experience working with vendors using various models like staff augmentation and fixed-price contracts.
- Clear understanding of activities within a delivery project.
- Experience scheduling activities across multiple delivery teams for a common capability.
- Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally to articulate, measure, and solve issues.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile practices.
- Knowledge of collaboration tools – JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with Planview and/or RBC MIS.
- Basic financial experience.
- 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master.
- 3+ years of experience in software development, project management, business analysis, or other relevant professional experience.
