Kimley-Horn is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Roadway

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple roadway projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and budget requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Prepare and present project reports, updates, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as design, construction, and operations, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Manage project closeout, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty periods.
  • Participate in business development activities, such as proposals, presentations, and interviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Ensure that all project activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Manage project subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, including negotiations, contracts, and performance management.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-offs, progress updates, and closeouts.
  • Manage project communications, including emails, meetings, and reports.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
