What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end delivery of technical project portfolios, translating business objectives into actionable plans and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Define and manage technical scope, dependencies, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop comprehensive Project Management Plans, including Statements of Work and project baselines, approved by senior stakeholders. Oversee execution by monitoring progress, managing team performance, and resolving blockers to maintain momentum.
Conduct regular technical reviews to assess readiness, track defects, and verify go-live preparedness. Facilitate smooth operational handovers by ensuring all transition documentation is complete and stakeholders are aligned.
Provide clear, consistent updates to internal and external parties, tracking performance against time, cost, and quality benchmarks. Escalate risks with clear impact analysis and proposed mitigations. Promote continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining best practices.
Requirements
Matric Certificate required; a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred. Minimum of five years in project management with demonstrated experience in technical environments.
Must hold PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and have working knowledge of PMBOK frameworks. Prior hands-on technical experience is essential. Familiarity with Azure, M365, Entra, firewalls, VPN, network segmentation, and change windows is required.
Work Mode
This role supports hybrid work with access to offices in Stellenbosch and Johannesburg. Remote work is permitted, provided a reliable internet connection and professional home environment are maintained. Periodic in-person engagements are expected.
