The Environmental Protection Authority is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to provide crucial documentation and coordination support for major international projects. You will assist the Project Director and Project Manager to ensure the New Zealand House project in London is delivered to consistent standards and timelines, while also supporting the development of MFAT’s Capital Works Programme for renewing New Zealand’s overseas property portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate, maintain, and provide administrative assistance for budget monitoring and financial administration.
- Coordinate, maintain, and provide administrative assistance for programme tracking and monthly reporting.
- Coordinate, maintain, and provide administrative assistance for comprehensive documentation management.
- Assist in the selection and engagement of suppliers and contractors both on shore and offshore.
- Administer all Property/Asset documentation and resource libraries, ensuring accuracy and accessibility to support the Division’s plans.
What We're Looking For
- A sound track record of at least 3 years in project support or equivalent roles, preferably in a project/programme delivery environment.
Nice to Have
- A tertiary qualification in project management or coordination, preferably with offshore experience, or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Logistic management experience, especially involving multiple providers and international freight routes.
- Experience coordinating construction projects and managing vendor relationships.
- An understanding of The Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti, Te Reo Māori, and Māori customs and protocols.
Team & Environment
You will directly assist the Project Director and Project Manager, providing essential coordination and administrative support to the project team.
