Senior Program Manager, Global Clinical Training and Programming (Tokyo)
Role Overview
This position leads the design and execution of clinical training and programming initiatives outside the United States, reporting to the Director of Clinical Training. You will shape a sustainable global strategy, ensuring mental health education is delivered effectively across diverse cultural, linguistic, and time zone contexts. The role involves close coordination with international clients, internal teams, and clinical partners to expand programming reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary project lead for non-U.S. clinical training and programming, managing end-to-end delivery
- Provide expert guidance on global implementation challenges, adapting content and delivery methods to local contexts
- Develop and execute a scalable global training strategy aligned with organizational growth
- Coordinate event logistics, including virtual platform setup, provider engagement, material preparation, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with major clients to advise on training planning, working alongside internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions
- Partner with regional and U.S.-based program teams to ensure alignment and consistency in global programming
- Lead measurement efforts to assess training effectiveness using established evaluation frameworks
- Support the production and delivery of key global events, including initiatives tied to World Mental Health Day
Required Qualifications
- Holding a clinical license or equivalent credential in your country of residence
- 3–5 years of experience facilitating training programs and managing event logistics
- Deep understanding of global clinical training dynamics, including cross-cultural adaptation and language considerations
- Proven ability to analyze complex, multifaceted problems and develop practical solutions with limited precedent
- Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong command of program management principles and data-driven evaluation methods
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Zoom, and various virtual event platforms
- Familiarity with instructional design, adult learning theory, and training assessment techniques
- Excellent communication skills across customer and internal teams
Work Environment
This is a full-time remote role based in India, Japan, or Singapore, with up to 30% travel for in-person training sessions.
