GE HealthCare is hiring a Senior Productivity Leader to provide accountable leadership for Engineering budget planning within our Nuclear organization. You will be responsible for managing the full business planning cycle, leading cost productivity initiatives, and overseeing core operational activities to deliver financial commitments while maximizing productivity.
What You'll Do
- Partner with the Nuclear Engineering organization and value stream partners to guide critical decision making for meeting financial commitments while maximizing productivity.
- Provide accountable ownership of the Engineering budget, including development strategy, target setting, and daily management routines of associated KPIs.
- Compare demands (Req, R&D, FPC) and connect the dots between actuals, trending to predict liquidation impact with Finance.
- Provide active feedback to Engineering operations & finance and course adjust headcount and functional cost productivity to meet organizational goals.
- Partner with Digital to establish dashboards & visual management to proactively spot productivity trends and anomalies.
- Partner with other Operational Leaders and Finance to analyse key variables & set various cost liquidation rates for the year ahead.
- Translate and communicate Nuclear business objectives into Engineering productivity actions.
- Lead monthly Engineering productivity and budget meetings and provide clear concise communications with extended business partners.
- Partner with finance to manage bullet trains and find opportunities for cost reductions, working cross-functionally to activate plans & realize savings.
- Provide engineering oversight of vouchering tools and guide strategy and maintenance.
- Partner with Digital to manage, maintain and improve overall demand and capacity data portal quality.
- Establish and drive consistency of Engineering productivity data sources for one source of truth for the Nuclear organization.
- Effectively partner with other Engineering leaders for current year pacing and operational planning for the following year.
- Challenge status quo in terms of the current operating model and processes to eliminate waste and minimize touch-times with a Lean mindset.
- Summarize, elevate, and create content / deliver narratives to key business leaders.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business-related discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with financial planning/demand planning within large complex organizations.
- Minimum of 10 years of industrial related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory/People Leader experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in regulated industries, such as Nuclear.
- Prior experience in Power or Energy industries.
- In-depth understanding of Engineering functional cost categories, processes and hours usage.
- Proven experience leading cross functional teams toward a common goal using credibility, influence and trust.
- Proven to be effective driving outcomes in large matrixed organizations.
- Proven ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate requirements & facilitate best practice-sharing in a motivating, engaging way.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and the logistics associated with them.
- Comfortable with conflict but leads as a collaborator, facilitator and strong partner.
- Critical, systems thinker with the ability to bring others along, even those with conflicting priorities.
- Data-driven but decisive in decisioning despite ambiguity.

- Compensation: $112,000 to $160,000 base pay range.
