Responsibilities
- Lead long-term strategy including spearheading research, defining customer and market positioning, shaping product direction, and identifying required investments and internal capabilities
- Translate strategy into actionable guidance that informs company-wide planning and execution
- Focus the organization on highest-leverage investments and decisions across functions to unlock long-term success
- Reduce ambiguity and ensure Symmetry is building toward a market-winning payroll tax offering
- Partner across Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, CX, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and build alignment
- Create shared context and ensure cross-functional teams are set up to deliver
- Step into highest-priority gaps that stand in the way of success
- Clarify requirements, kick off strategic initiatives, or embed with a team to drive execution
- Create clarity, build momentum, and enable others to succeed
