Dandy is seeking a Senior/Principal Product Manager for Design Systems to lead the strategy and development of our doctor-facing design interface. This is a high-impact, technical role focused on bridging the gap between sophisticated internal CAD software and a seamless, high-fidelity experience for dentists. You will build the interface for doctors to interact with 3D design previews, participate in live design reviews, and utilize real-time AI crown generation.
What You'll Do
- Define the product roadmap for the doctor-facing Design product, evolving internal design software into an intuitive, doctor-friendly interface.
- Bridge internal and external workflows by understanding internal design processes to identify which CAD levers (anatomy, margins, occlusion, shade) to expose to doctors.
- Serve as connective tissue between CAD Engineering, ML, UX Design, and Manufacturing to ensure design fidelity from doctor to print.
- Conduct customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions and identify innovation opportunities.
- Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration in a highly agile, collaborative environment.
- Use data and qualitative insights to measure impact, communicate results, and continuously refine product direction.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in product management, managing software products through the full lifecycle from MVP to general release and iterations.
- Ability to translate a complex, internal-only technical tool into a simplified, powerful experience for a non-technical expert (the Doctor).
- Understanding of the constraints and possibilities of rendering 3D assets in a web or app environment.
- High bias-to-action, thriving in hyper-growth environments and comfortable moving from high-level strategy to detailed specs.
- Clinical empathy and obsession with the end-user, wanting to spend time in dental offices understanding doctor interaction with digital restoratives.
Nice to Have
- Previously taken an internal tool and successfully productized it for external customers.
- Industry context in Dental, MedTech, or sophisticated 'Pro-sumer' creative tools.
- Technical background as a software engineer or deep understanding of ML model deployment.
