Crux is hiring a Senior Product Manager to be our second product hire. You'll own the mission to make the experience of negotiating, underwriting, and closing transactions on our platform efficient, intelligent, and seamless. You'll work in close collaboration with our experienced engineering, product, design, and customer-facing teams to develop that vision and bring it to life.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap for either drafting contracts or underwriting transactions on the Crux platform.
- Work directly with customers, partners, and customer-facing teams to develop a vision and strategy for your problem space.
- Iterate quickly with stakeholders to rapidly improve features in market.
- Partner with engineering and design to drive feature implementation.
- Deeply understand our customers, market environment, and workflows to build purpose-built features.
- Define and implement metrics to understand what's working and what's not.
- Actively participate in company-building to improve Crux for our customers and our team.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience in product management.
- High ownership and a proven track record of solving customer problems.
- Experience building features that leverage LLMs, with mature product sense for where and how to deploy them.
- Fluency in developing evaluations.
- Thoughtful strategic thinking with strengths in modulating communication altitude, understanding first and second-order effects, identifying novel solutions, and disentangling problems.
- Excitement about working at an early-stage startup, which involves wearing multiple hats, iterating a lot, and owning significant product surface area.
- A desire to use your skills to improve sustainable finance in a collaborative team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in B2B software, complex industries that interact with the built world, or operationally-intensive businesses.

- Estimated all-in cash compensation of $175-225k plus a competitive equity package.
