About the Role

Dandy is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Doctor Portal (Retention) team. You will own the post-booking and post-ordering experience, designing workflows that help doctors manage cases, track orders, communicate with our team, and review restorative designs.

What You'll Do

  • Design the core experience of our Doctor Portal, where users track orders, manage cases, give feedback, and interact with our support and lab teams.
  • Work across high-touch features that aim to build confidence and retention, like Live Design Review and Case Consultation.
  • Create intuitive experiences that simplify complex, collaborative workflows.
  • Empower doctors to engage with their cases through both scheduled and on-demand interactions, like real-time design reviews or asynchronous case walkthroughs.
  • Ensure case status is always clear and actionable, prompting doctors when attention is needed.
  • Translate the personal, high-touch feel of a local lab into digital tools.
  • Work on rich interaction points—video calls, annotated designs, chat modules—that connect doctors with lab technicians.
  • Use research and data to identify friction points, validate solutions, and improve features iteratively.
  • Ground your work in usability testing, customer interviews, and product analytics.
  • Advocate for the Doctors in every decision, surfacing key information, reducing steps, or designing more transparent workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of product design experience, including owning end-to-end user flows for customer-facing tools.
  • A portfolio that showcases thoughtful, data-driven design decisions—framing problems, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving to user outcomes.
  • Experience designing for communication, collaboration, or workflow-heavy platforms.
  • Ability to ground product strategy in user insights and clearly align stakeholders around your vision.
  • Comfortable balancing business goals, technical constraints, and user needs.
  • Strong understanding of user research and the ability to turn insights into actionable designs.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or clinical tech.
  • Background designing for post-sale/order, retention, or support-facing tools.
  • Familiarity with video-based collaboration, messaging platforms, or live interaction tools.
