Responsibilities
- Lead the full design lifecycle for intricate product features, from initial research to final implementation
- Shape how retail businesses and suppliers handle ordering, payments, inventory, and daily operations through design
- Collaborate with product teams, engineers, data specialists, and fellow designers to build seamless, scalable platform experiences
- Deliver complete design solutions for key product areas, including early-stage flows, wireframes, and final production-ready interfaces
- Lead comprehensive design efforts for large-scale platform initiatives
- Work alongside product managers and engineering leads to shape product vision, strategy, and roadmap planning
- Simplify complex processes into clear, user-friendly experiences
- Quickly prototype concepts using code to test ideas and deploy designs directly into production
- Design with a systems-thinking mindset, mapping detailed user flows while accounting for state, context, and edge conditions
- Produce wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
- Develop and maintain reusable Figma component libraries used throughout the platform
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests with retail and brand partners
- Inform design decisions using customer data and behavioral insights
- Advance the design system by refining components, patterns, and documentation standards
- Maintain a strong user focus while navigating business and technical limitations
- Clearly communicate design work to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Establish and document design standards, interaction models, and best practices
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented in code
- Enhance consistency across marketplace features, payment systems, and operational tools
- Support alignment in design across multiple products and platforms
