About the Role
This role supports sales teams by delivering technical expertise during the pre-sales process, ensuring customer requirements are met with accurate system designs and solutions tailored to specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client challenges and objectives
- Design system configurations that align with customer specifications and project goals
- Present technical demonstrations and product capabilities to prospective clients
- Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering proposals
- Support the development of quotes and proposals with accurate technical data
- Provide on-site and virtual support during the sales cycle as needed
- Work within a pod-based team model to ensure cross-functional coordination
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and performance metrics
- Troubleshoot potential design issues before customer presentation
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to validate solution feasibility
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Respond to technical inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders
- Assist in the validation of system scalability and integration capabilities
- Contribute to the improvement of pre-sales tools and documentation
- Track and report on pre-sales engineering activities and outcomes
Nice to Have
- Professional engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with large-scale water system deployments
- Background in sustainability or environmental compliance programs
- Prior work with enterprise-level clients in technical sales roles
- Familiarity with IoT-enabled monitoring systems in water infrastructure
