About the Role
Deliver high-quality clinical counseling and mental health services remotely to individuals in need, using evidence-based practices to support client well-being and treatment progress.
Responsibilities
- Conduct remote clinical assessments to evaluate client mental health needs
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client diagnoses and goals
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate client care
- Utilize diagnostic criteria from the DSM to inform clinical decisions
- Engage clients in therapeutic processes using trauma-informed approaches
- Support crisis intervention and risk assessment procedures
- Adhere to ethical standards and licensing board requirements
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services
- Practice cultural sensitivity in all client interactions
- Maintain timely documentation of all clinical activities
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
