About the Role
This position bridges sales and engineering, serving as a builder and communicator who helps customers move quickly from problem to production with clarity and measurable results. The team combines functions often separated into solutions engineering, architecture, consulting, and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical assessments for high-priority sales opportunities.
- Translate customer business objectives into defined technical outcomes and structured evaluation strategies.
- Architect, plan, and manage proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate clear value.
- Establish evaluation datasets, success metrics, and timelines to ensure technical validation.
- Develop lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demonstrations using available SDKs and APIs.
- Provide guidance on system design for performance, accuracy, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Address deployment requirements across cloud, on-premise, hybrid, and data-localization scenarios.
- Manage security and compliance discussions common in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Prepare accurate responses related to Singapore’s PDPA, Japan’s APPI, Korea’s PIPA, Australia’s Privacy Act, and India’s DPDP Act.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during customer evaluations.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to rapidly resolve customer blockers.
- Develop reusable technical materials to increase field efficiency.
- Convert recurring customer requests into sample implementations, reference designs, operational runbooks, and field documentation.
- Coordinate with Solutions Architects and Support teams to ensure smooth handoffs post-sale.
- Remain engaged during customer expansion phases when required.
- Equip field teams with tools and knowledge to succeed.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and partners on technical positioning, demonstrations, and validation for key use cases.

- Must be located in an APAC time zone with substantial overlap to business hours in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and ANZ.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of regional procurement processes, information security standards, and data privacy regulations across APAC is essential.
- Regional travel is expected for key customer milestones, estimated at 10 to 20 percent of time.
