Responsibilities
- Ensure the platform is compliant with industry security standards such as ISO27001, C5, and SOC2
- Integrate security at every step of the platform lifecycle
- Vigilantly understand and mitigate security threats before they arise
- Optimize system scalability and cost efficiency
- Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across multiple continents
- Develop, maintain, and secure CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure high availability of all services during deployment
- Fix urgent issues and optimize performance
- Support other team members in their daily work
- Act as technical point of contact during escalated incidents such as DDoS or abuse cases
- Collaborate with Global Security on platform compliance and risk management
- Audit existing systems in collaboration with PMS teams
- Support secure migration to the central platform
- Interpret global security and legal requirements in the context of PMS implementations
- Consult on technical compliance and networking standards with Core Team within Internal Platform
- Resolve misconfigurations or vulnerabilities detected across platform components
- Provide guidance on infrastructure-related application security topics to Experience Teams
- Advise on secure encryption practices and secure CSP integrations
- Work with Legal to ensure alignment with data protection regulations, encryption standards, and locality requirements
- Use insights from Legal to assess and improve the security posture of the platform

Team
Structure: Includes 2 Staff Engineers, 4 Engineering Managers, and Head of Internal Platform. Organized to efficiently address stakeholder needs. Platform Security is a sub-team within the Internal Platform and serves as the first point of contact for the Global Security Team.
Additional Information
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level (spoken and written) is required
- Must be able to work fully remotely within Spain
- Flexible working hours with minimal mandatory meetings
