This remote internship offers hands-on experience within a 24x7 Security Operations Center focused on protecting state, local, tribal, and territorial governments. You'll support the Cyber Threat Intelligence team by analyzing data from multiple sources and contributing to actionable intelligence reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary analysis of cyber threat data using the Security Operations Threat Intelligence Platform
- Collaborate with analysts to integrate and disseminate intelligence across teams
- Support the development of cyber threat intelligence products on current cybersecurity issues
- Help apply U.S. Intelligence Community standards to analytical processes
- Complete additional tasks as directed by team leads
Qualifications
Applicants should have completed at least two years of study in Cybersecurity, Cyber Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Familiarity with internet protocols, common cyber threats, and foundational intelligence analysis methods is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with professionalism and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Preference may be given to current or former graduate students and those with prior experience in cyber intelligence analysis or related technical fields.
