About the Role
This position is responsible for building and managing platform systems that enable reliable, secure, and scalable application deployment across the organization. The engineer will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve system performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions
- Maintain and optimize platform reliability and performance
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment strategies
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-level issues
- Ensure system security and compliance standards are met
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency
- Monitor system health and respond to incidents
- Integrate monitoring and alerting tools into workflows
- Participate in system architecture planning
- Document platform configurations and procedures
- Evaluate new technologies for platform improvements
- Manage configuration across environments
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts
- Work with cloud infrastructure providers
- Implement identity and access management controls
- Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency
- Enforce consistent deployment practices
- Contribute to incident response protocols
- Promote platform best practices across teams
- Assist in capacity planning and forecasting
- Ensure logging and auditing capabilities are in place
- Support containerization and orchestration systems
- Maintain version control and change management processes
- Drive adoption of infrastructure as code
