Responsibilities
- Leading and supporting the preparation, coordination, and management of development consents, compliance documentation, and planning strategies for large-scale or strategic projects including transportation, water and energy.
- Preparing and submitting planning applications, and planning reports for projects across multiple sectors.
- Providing strategic planning and environmental advice to clients, including consenting pathways, policy compliance, and sustainability considerations.
- Contributing to and supporting the design and master planning process, working closely with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists.
- Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the integration of planning, design, and environmental inputs.
- Liaising with planning authorities, An Coimisiún Pleanála, County Councils, and other statutory and regulatory bodies.
- Engaging with stakeholders and public consultation processes, contributing to effective communication and transparent project delivery.
- Preparing high-quality reports, statements, and documentation to support planning submissions and client deliverables.
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continuous improvement of planning and environmental practice within Egis.
