iesfgroup is looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our team in a fully remote role. You will be responsible for both maintaining legacy APIs and designing new microservices within our modern, cloud-native infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance legacy APIs built with CakePHP 2.
- Design and develop new microservices using API Platform and Symfony.
- Write and maintain unit and Behat tests to ensure code quality.
- Collaborate with team members in an agile SCRUM environment.
- Deploy and monitor applications using Docker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work with PostgreSQL databases and Pub/Sub messaging services.
What We're Looking For
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer.
- Strong experience with PHP 8.3 and modern PHP frameworks (Symfony, API Platform).
- Experience maintaining legacy codebases.
- Familiarity with Docker, GCP, and microservice architecture.
- Proficient with PostgreSQL and Pub/Sub.
- Experience writing unit tests and Behat tests.
- Good understanding of agile/SCRUM development practices.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CakePHP 2.
