Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end payroll operations for multiple jurisdictions
  • Ensure all payroll activities meet local, state, and federal compliance requirements
  • Oversee payroll calendar and manage deadlines across time zones
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Implement and maintain payroll system configurations
  • Drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Manage payroll audits and support external reporting needs
  • Supervise payroll team members and support professional development
  • Evaluate payroll service providers and recommend enhancements
  • Develop documentation for payroll policies and procedures
  • Lead payroll system upgrades and integrations
  • Monitor changes in tax and labor laws affecting payroll
  • Provide guidance during organizational changes impacting payroll
  • Ensure data privacy and security standards are followed
  • Prepare executive-level payroll reports and summaries
  • Support year-end and tax filing processes globally
  • Coordinate with international offices on payroll consistency
  • Identify risks in payroll operations and implement controls
  • Train stakeholders on payroll processes and tools
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships for payroll services
